Society of the Culture of Estonian Tatars “Idel”

The association has been active for more than 20 years. The society’s goal is to strengthen ties between Estonia and Tatarstan and to preserve Tatar traditions, language, and culture. The society regularly holds major events and round tables, and it is engaged not only in organizing cultural events but also in building diplomatic relations with Estonia.

Three other associations operate in Estonia, with which the center works constantly. Every year the Sabantuy festival is held, uniting Tatars from all over Europe.
